I realize how important finding the right therapist is. I work with anxiety/stress reduction, self-esteem, relationship problems, and addiction that effects the individual and their family. First, I collaborate with my clients to assess their symptoms. Next, we stabilize so we can move deeper to uncover the underlying issues that are fueling the symptoms. Lastly, we fix the root issue so we can ultimately fix the symptoms. Quick fixes don’t last long and my mission to help my clients get the lasting changes they deserve and are capable of.
I will meet you where you are, empowering you to begin making choices with conscious awareness. Combining psychoeducation, psychological archetypes, empathy, encouragement, and mindfulness, we will identify your self-defeating beliefs and coping mechanisms that may be keeping you stuck. Then you’ll be free to consciously choose your path.
As a Center for Mindfulness qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, I offer the original 8-Week MBSR course designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. I have found practicing mindfulness to be one of the most effective, empowering ways to work with the suffering that comes with being human.
